Retail’s day of action unites the industry in our fight against rising retail crime.

Organized retail crime continues to affect retailers, workers and the communities they serve. In response to this crucial issue, NRF has designated October 24, 2024, as Fight Retail Crime Day — an annual event that mobilizes the entire retail business community to advocate for effective solutions in combating this problem.

On Fight Retail Crime Day, we will:

• Advocate for policies that promote community safety and address the rising threat of retail crime such as the Combating Organized Retail Crime Act.

• Engage policymakers through NRF Store Tours to provide firsthand insights into the effects of organized retail crime, theft and violence on our communities.

• Activate the retail community to spread awareness and recognize lawmakers who support retail as Retail Crime Fighters.
